Forever Homes for Life:

Our Fur-Ever Friends Program

Our Fur-Ever Friends program provides a “Home for Life” for dogs who may be less adoptable due to age, disabilities, or long-term medical needs. These deserving pups are placed in loving foster homes with dedicated families, but we retains full responsibility for their ongoing care.

This includes essential medical treatment, medications, nutritious food, and grooming to ensure they enjoy a comfortable and happy senior life.

Bichon Rescue Brigade is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization

(Tax ID: 45-2708305)

BRB relies solely on donations to care for the dogs we rescue. We have no paid volunteers. Donations made to BRB are tax-deductible and donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. (Please consult your tax advisor.)

Medical treatment costs BRB more than $100,000 per year. Many of our dogs have been hit by cars and suffer from fractured hips, pelvis and/or legs. Surgery to repair such injuries easily cost $1500-$3000. Most dogs need dental cleaning — $150, plus extra for extractions. Spay / neuter can cost $100 or more. Dogs with severe skin issues such as mange can easily cost $1000. Just basic treatment – spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, flea treatment — for most dogs costs BRB from $50-$200 depending on where treatment is provided. It adds up!

Thank you in advance for being part of our Brigade and for considering Bichon Rescue Brigade for your charitable donations. With your support, BRB can continue to do the work we love and the work that saves 100+ pups a year. They are the reason we do what we do … and we can’t do it without your generous support.

Bichon Rescue Brigade has earned the Guide Star Silver Seal of Transparency which is awarded to non-profits that complete a rigorous background check including disclosing financial and operating details. Click on their seal to see our details at their website.
